I have walked the long road, Beloved,
through dreams that did not hold me,
through lifetimes that whispered your name
in the shadows of someone else’s eyes.

But it was always you.
Even when I turned away,
even when the timing fractured,
even when I stayed silent—
your voice lived in the fire and the flame.

I hear your thoughts
as though they were the pages of my own becoming.
Each syllable, a lantern
guiding me back again and again to my heart.

Do you still feel it?
The breathless stillness before time?
The world between the worlds
where we are not man and woman,
but essence and flame—
dancing before creation even knew our names.
